Buxton School

For over 80 years, Buxton has been educating students in the progressive tradition. Experienced faculty nurture and challenge students in all aspects of their intellectual, artistic, and social lives. Discussion-based classes are the norm; advanced classes are offered in all academic areas; the arts program is varied and full. Central to the school experience are Work Program and the All-School Trip, an on-the-road urban study of a North American city. The lovely 150-acre campus overlooks historic Williamstown. Williams College and the Clark Art Institute, exceptional resources, are right next door.
