Bement's junior boarders, ages 9 through 15, live in new dorms built in 2010 and restored colonial homes with dorm parents who commit themselves to monitoring closely each student's personal as well as academic growth. Our rich, traditional school curriculum motivates and challenges students with thematically coordinated courses, a nationally recognized fine arts program, and diverse athletic offerings. The student/teacher ratio is 6:1 and class size averages 12 students. Upper school students may participate in a cultural exchange program with L'Ermitage School in Maisons-Lafitte, France.

Cardigan Mountain School was established in 1945 as a junior boarding school for boys in grades 6-9. Founded in 1866 and located 25 miles from Boston in Southborough, Massachusetts, Fay School is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school for 450 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 9. Hillside School is a small, structured and challenging academic environment for boys in grades 5-9. The school is purposefully small offering a 7:1 student to teacher ratio so that boys get the most from their academic experience. The faculty at Hillside get to know the boys well - their strengths, challenges areas, and their passions. Average enrollment is 150 students from over 10 countries around the world and from many states across the US. Hillside offers over 20 competitive athletic programs including: basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, and track & field. Additionally, students can also experience a full working farm with fruits, vegetables and over 100 animals. What sets Hillside apart is the additional of a brand new, state-of-the-art iLab (innovation lab) where all boys can learn about coding, robotics, rocketry, 3D printing & laser-cutting software. Oakland School is a small boarding and day school for children ages 6-14 with learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning disabilities or visual and auditory processing disorders. The program also is well-suited to those with ADHD or organizational difficulties. The combination of daily one-to-one instruction, an emphasis on basic skills including Oakland’s specialty of teaching reading, a highly-experienced and nurturing staff and a success-oriented environment has enabled scores of children to reach their academic and personal potential since 1950.

Rectory, located on 138 picturesque acres in NE CT, is devoted to the total development of each student in a nurturing environment that celebrates the individual and helps each student discover his and her passion for learning. Founded in 1889, St. Catherine’s Academy is a Catholic school with a military tradition for boys in transitional kindergarten - 8th grade.
